Categories of launeddas

Click on the tones in the table below to view information on the various categories of launeddas, the cuntzertus currently used by players.

An information sheet [click to enlarge] in the categories page indicates:

• file number,
• instrument name,
• maker's name,
• year of construction,
• notes the instrument can play (both modern notation and by music samples).

A video is attached to demonstrate the sound of each category of launeddas.
